Thousand of Harley-Davidson motorcycles graced the streets of Goa for the second time when the India Harley owners Group(H.O.G) Rally returned to the city to inaugurate India Bike Week 2014,the biggest biking event in India at Vagator beach in Goa. Around 1000 H.O.G members from all over the India made a spectacular grand entry at the India Bike Week 2014.
The Indian Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) shares the passion for motorcycling and IBW provides a grand platform for all the Harley-Davidson motorcycles owners to come together to show their brotherhood along with sharing their passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The roads of Goa witnessed the biggest riding event in a typical Harley manner with striking display of chrome and trademark Harley roaring exhaust sound. Frank Savage from Harley-Davidson’s product development center and industrial design and styling lead for Harley Davidson’s new Street Platform, was also present at the event.
Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India at the event said, “In just its second year, the India National H.O.G rally was highly successful with more than 1000 proud Harley owners riding together from across the country. H.O.G rallies form the core of the shared brand experience and provides an opportunity to experience the best of Harley-Davidson lifestyle. The overwhelming response we received for the rally stands as testimony to our success in India and the relationship Harley-Davidson enjoys among its customers. It’s a delight to see one out of every four motorcycles that we have sold in India since our beginning in 2010 present here today.”
The bikers came dressed in the Harley-Davidson leather jackets showing their brotherhood at the event. The H.O.G rally included the spectacular Harley-Davidson motorcycles like the Harley Davidson Night rod, Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, Harley-Davidson Superlow,Harley-Davidson Iron 883, Harley-Davidson Soft tail, Harley-Davidson Street Bob. It was a visual treat to see so many Harley’s motorcycles at one place.
